The current version of ACT 1 is outdated. Assets such as art and music, along with other small fixes of ACT 1, will be updated with the release of ACT 2.

INTRODUCTION

Rewritten is a free-to-play Fangan made in RPG Maker VX Ace. We have no affiliation with Spike Chunsoft, NISA, or the Danganronpa brand.

The story follows 16 participants who signed up for a reality TV show for a chance of winning a scholarship. Little do they know, they ended up regaining consciousness in a mysterious hotel. Unbeknownst to them, they are now trapped in a Killing Game where one must kill if they wish to survive.

THINGS TO NOTE

1. Resolution: Please play in full screen by hitting Alt+Enter. You can use F5 to control the screen size to your liking, but DO NOTE that it is not recommended to use this method, as due to RPG Maker graphic bugs, it will mess up movie scenes (BDA, Character Introduction, Chapter Introduction, Execution, etc.)
2. Crashes: RPG Maker games sucks in that it crashes for no apparent reason at all. This could be due to the user's PC running out of memory, the driver being incompatible, or some other mysterious reason. It's not a common occurrence, but please save the game when you can.
3. Sound Volume: There is the option to configure the volume of sound in the game. The basic configuration for Music is at 90%, others are at 100%, but you can configure them to your liking. Additionally, do note that sound effects and voice are both under "sound effects." 
4. Menu: You can only access the menu / save when you are not in the middle of dialogues or events. Please don't spam S during events.
5. Recording: If you're going to record your gameplay, it will only work if you don't play it in full screen. (Use window capture if you use OBS).
6. Run: Press SHIFT to RUN
7. Name: Character names are spelled out, Last Name -> First Name (Izumi Kakeru, Izumi = Last Name, Kakeru = First Name)
